WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Please review the full arena security information below before you head out.
Don't worry if you come without a sign — free pre-made rally signs and sign-making stations will be available inside the arena.

All attendees must pass through a security checkpoint to enter the arena.
Clear bag policy: Plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Small clutches no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are allowed and do not need to be clear. Large bags are prohibited.
Full security procedures: mvparena.com/plan-your-visit/security-procedures Note on signs and placards: Bring your signs, but make sure they comply with security restrictions (no sticks, nothing oversized). If you can’t get yours in, we’ll have plenty of signs and rally items available inside.
Seating: Your ticket will have your seating section assignment. You will not have an individual seat number — all seating will be done by SECTION based on your local union and your region. (Expect there to be some good-natured regional rivalry during the rally.) Please find a seat in the appropriate section. Signage and ushers will be available once you get into the arena to help you locate your section.

We have arranged for buses across the state. If you indicated you were interested in taking a bus, you should have received your bus pickup and drop-off locations. Each bus has been assigned a bus captain who will take attendance and provide on-site support during your departure and arrival.
Each bus will be numbered. To make for an orderly exit after the rally, bus boarding will be announced by bus number. Please do not attempt to board your bus until your bus number is announced.
First and foremost, please plan ahead, carpool with your colleagues and arrive early! With 15,000 people and dozens of buses converging on the MVP Arena, expect traffic to be tight.
The MVP Arena has a dedicated parking garage, which will be open and have free parking for all ticketed attendees. However, we expect the garage to reach capacity and spots are not guaranteed.
There are additional parking garages and street parking options in downtown Albany as well.
Visit Park Albany or Downtown Albany for more information on additional parking options in the area.

Box Lunch Option for NYSUT Members: A free boxed lunch will be provided for all NYSUT members and their guests who want one. Box lunch pickup will be just before the security checkpoint at all three entrances to the arena.
Food Concession Stands: Food concessions inside the arena will be open and food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please note, concessions do not accept cash; credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Alcohol concessions will be open.

Doors open at 10:00 a.m. When you arrive, head through one of the security checkpoints and into the arena as quickly as you can to keep lines moving.
Once inside, you’ll find plenty to see and do on the concourse level:
Please find a seat in your section by 11:30 a.m. so we can begin the program on time at noon.
